From the Principal’s Desk
Dear Parents,
This year’s school auction is coming up. Friday night, May 13th is the big day. We have several things planned for that night: a delicious meal, an engaging auction, and a wonderful music and drama program by the 1st-6th graders.
Each year we ask our classrooms to decide on an auction basket theme. This year’s themes are listed on the Newsflash. If every family would contribute an item to their classroom’s basket, we can compose some outstanding gifts. For the last several years we have seen our families do a great job in donating items and then at purchasing the items the night of the auction. Any items you purchase to fill the baskets or any time you spend soliciting donations count toward the volunteer requirements.
Speaking of items for the auction, so far we have some great items that we will auction separately as part of our live auction:
The project we are aiming at with the auction money is the repair of the sidewalk and the replacement of the wrought iron fencing on the lower elementary sidewalk. Your participation in the auction will make a difference to our school. So I encourage you, make plans to attend the auction. You won’t want to miss this event!
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
