Thanks for a Good Competition

Dear Parents,

                I want to give a sincere thanks to all the people who helped out in Friday’s competition.  Many parents came on Friday and added key components to the events.  It was a great day!  The students put in a lot of work to prepare for the day, and the preparation showed.  We had strong competition all the way around in the events.  From running, to art, to academics, to speech and music – the students came ready to do their best.  Congratulations to them!

                Thank you for the time and effort you as parents put in to getting your students ready for the day.  The work that you do with them shows.  It may not result in an award this year, but the effects are cumulative; and long term, what is produced in them is superior than had the strong effort not been made to help them develop.

                I want to thank our teachers and staff as well for the hard work they do year by year to lead their classrooms in these competition events.  A lot goes on behind the scenes to bring the children along.  I want to thank them for their commitment to the competition and for their love for their students.
