Tuesday Teacher’s Treats – This week’s teacher treats will be provided by Mrs. Andrea Hazel.  Thank you!  If you would like to sign up for teacher’s treats, please contact the office.

Hot Lunch – We need parent volunteers to help with hot lunches on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  If we do not have enough parent participation, we will not be able to run hot lunch on Fridays.

Picture Day – Picture day is scheduled for September 22.  The envelopes will be going home with your child next Monday.  We need at least 2 parents to help with Picture Day.

Absent Note – For our records, any students who are absent from school must bring a note upon returning to school even if a phone call has been made explaining the absence.  The note should state the cause of absence and be signed by a parent or guardian.  Students must have a note in order to return to class.

Extended Care – The next billing statement will include a $50.00 deposit for each child using Extended Care.  This deposit will be taken out of the last billing statement of the school year.  All children who are not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be automatically signed into Extended Care.   The hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  The Extended Care phone number is (510)223-5733.

Tardy Policy – All students not inside of the classroom when the bell rings at 8:30 a.m. will be considered tardy.  There is a $2.00 fee per unexcused tardy.  Please make sure your children arrive to school on time.

S.H.A.R.E.S. – If you do not have a SHARES card, please pick one up in the office.  If you swipe this card while shopping at Lucky, Food Maxx, Save mart, and Smart Foods, they will donate a percentage of your purchase to Bethel.

Target – Target will donate a percentage of your sales to Bethel when you use your Target card and designate the percentage to go to Bethel.  We received $77.95 last quarter.

Volunteer – We could use some help keeping the office clean.  Any time you help with this can count towards your volunteer hours.
