From the Principal
Dear Parents,
Today starts our fall fundraiser: the Read-a-Thon. We have held this fundraiser for many years and have had quite a bit of success with it. This year we are designating the funds from the Read-A-Thon toward purchasing a new school sign. The new sign will display our new logo and will give an enhanced look to the initial visit of prospective parents. We want the new sign to display on the outside the quality education that is taking place on the inside of the classrooms.
The new sign will cost several thousand dollars. That is where we need your help. We need everyone to participate. If everyone participates, then people will be mutually encouraged in their own participation. The team concept will take us further in reaching our goals. Another reason for participating is that your effort helps us raise the amount we will need. Your participation will also teach your child to get involved and to make things better, a great character trait for life.
So think about what you can do. We have asked that each student strive toward raising at least $150. That may be more than what you can do; that may be less than what you can do. I believe, however, that everyone can and should do something. We ask you to do what you can do.
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
