From the Principal’s Desk
Dear Parents,
A big thank you for all of your help with the auction fundraiser last Friday night. We are grateful for the items people purchased and for everyone’s willingness and desire to support the school. I appreciate all the work you did to sell raffle tickets and to bring in items for your child’s classroom basket. We had some wonderful support by our families in these areas. Including the raffle tickets sold Friday night, we raised just over $5,000 in total ticket sales. Thank you, as well, to all who came for the meal.
Speaking of the meal, I want to express my thanks to Mr. Willie Darden for preparing the BBQ dinner. He was here all day cooking the meat, and I must say that it was excellent. Through his connections, he also took care of the potato salad and baked beans. This is the third year that he has helped us in this way, and we appreciate his work.
So many of you stepped forward to serve during the evening. Thank you for your efforts. The organization and service helped make the evening smooth and enjoyable.
Several of our moms went over and above the call of duty to make the auction a success. I want especially to thank Mrs. Albina Hodge, Mrs. Nathalin Cartwright, Mrs. Michelle Brown, Mrs. Kim Archie, and Mrs. Kim Pitters. These ladies worked overtime securing donations and organizing the evening. Thank you for your work. Thanks as well go to the Lontocs for the mango ice cream.
If you are interested in bidding on the Orlando, FL timeshare, or if you want to find out more information about it, let me know. In two or three weeks, we will get together with everyone interested and have folks bid on it, perhaps by email.
If you have any auction or raffle ticket money yet to turn in, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you again for your concern and support for the school. We appreciate your efforts to make this year’s auction a success.
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
