From The Principal
Dear Parents,
Just a reminder about the auction coming up May 13: We will have an outsanding BBQ chicken dinner for sale that night—$10 for adults and $6 for children. The food line opens at 5:30pm and the live auction starts at 6:30pm. You will want to come early to make sure you get food.
Raffle tickets will be available toward the end of this week by the kindergarten gate. We will have $5 raffle tickets and $1 raffle tickets. If a person buys four $5 tickets, he gets one free—that’s five $5 tickets for $20! The prizes for the $5 tickets are a new Trek bike, a new laptop computer, and a Kindle. The prizes for the $1 tickets are various prizes valued between $25 and $75. We would like for each child to sell $200 worth of tickets. Each family can check out their bundles of tickets. Last year we sold $6,000 in raffle tickets. Let’s see if we can do even more this year.
We still need volunteers to help us run the events that night. We need people to help set up (5-10), take down (5-10), serve food (5), and collect money (5). If you can help with any of these areas, please let me know. Many hands make light work!
Thank you to those who have volunteered to make flyers for the auction. Flyers will be available this week for you to distribute to friends and family.
Think about what you can do to help fill the basket for your child’s class. Thank you for your help. We are looking forward to a great auction!
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
