Tuesday Teacher’s Treats – Thank you, Wisdom Stitts, for providing the Teacher’s Treats today. If you would like to volunteer to provide Tuesday Teacher’s Treats, please call or drop by the office to let us know when you would like to participate.
Tuition – Due to the 10th falling on Saturday, the September tuition is due this Friday, September 9th. However, if the tuition is not received on or before the due date, a $25.00 late fee will be posted to your account and a bill will be sent home with your child.
Monthly Tuition Billings – Your monthly tuition billing will be sent home with your child. If you do not receive one please, contact the office.
Hot Lunch – We need volunteer to head up the hot lunch programs on Friday’s. If you would be able to do this, we can have hot lunches on Fridays. Call the office if you can help.
Parking – Please use the parking stalls when picking up or dropping off your children. Please do not park in unmarked areas unless loading or unloading.
Non–Sufficient Funds – Accounts that issue NSF’s-checks to BCA will be charged $25.00 NSF fee. If that outstanding account is not brought current by the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will also be applied.
Absent Note – For our records, any students who are absent from school must bring a note upon returning to school even if a phone call has been made explaining the absence. The note should state the cause of the absence and be signed by a parent or a guardian. Students must have a note in order to return to class.
Extended Care – Next billing, parents who use Extended Care for the school year will be assessed a $50.00 deposit per child. This deposit will be applied towards the last billing in June. All children who are not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be automatically signed in to Extended Care. The hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. and 3:15 – 6:00 p.m. The phone number to use during these hours is (510) 223-5733.
Tardy Policy – When the bell rings at 8:30 a.m., if student arriving at school is not inside the classroom, he will be counted as tardy. There will be a $2.00 charged to your account on every unexcused tardy. Unexcused tardy are situations within your control including heavy traffic. Examples of situations that are unexcused are leaving the house late, getting up late, getting stuck in traffic. Excused tardies are situations beyond your control. Having car trouble, getting in or being stuck behind an accident, being sick. Doctors appointments will also be excused. Please make sure your chil(dren) arrives in school on time.
Parents – Should you need to drop of something to your child during the day, please “do not disturb” the classroom. Bring the item(s) to the office instead, and we will deliver it as soon as possible.
Piano Lessons –If you are interested in taking piano lessons, contact Mrs. Bridget Brandenburg @ 846-9029.
Violin Lessons – Mr. Marlowe Robles is giving violin lessons after school. If you are interested, call (510) 691-1271.
Gradebook – If you would like to see your child(ren)’s grades on line, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with your name and the name of the child(ren) you would like access to. Even if you had access last year, you will still need to send an e-mail to get access to this year’s gradebook.
