Tuesday Teacher’s Treats – Thank you, Mrs. Jie Shao for providing the Teacher’s Treats today. If you would like to volunteer to provide Tuesday Teacher’s Treats, please call or drop by the office to let us know when you would like to participate.
Tuition – Due to the 10th falling on Sunday, the September tuition is due this Friday, September 8th. However, if the tuition is not received on or before the due date, a $25.00 late fee will be posted to your account and a bill will be sent home with your child.
Parking – Please use the parking stalls when picking up or dropping off your children. Please do not park in unmarked areas unless loading or unloading. Drive s-l-o-w-l-y on Rincon Lane/Rincon Road and in the parking areas.
Non-Sufficient Funds – Accounts that issue NSF checks to BCA will be charged a $25.00 NSF fee. If that outstanding account is not brought current by the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will also be applied.
Absent Note – For our records, any students who are absent from school must bring a note upon returning to school even if a phone call has been made explaining the absence. The note should state the cause of the absence and be signed by a parent or guardian.
Extended Care – Next billing, parents who use Extended Care for the school year will be assessed a $50.00 deposit per child. This deposit will be applied towards the last billing in June. All children who are not picked up by 3:15 pm will be automatically signed in to Extended Care. The hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:00 – 8:00 am and 3:15 – 6:00 pm. The phone number to use during these hours is (510)223-5733.
Tardy Policy – When the bell rings at 8:30 am, any student not in the classroom is considered tardy. There will be a $2.00 tardy fee charged to your account on every unexcused tardy. An unexcused tardy is any situation within your control (including heavy traffic). Examples of situations that are unexcused are leaving the house late, getting up late, getting stuck in traffic. Excused tardies are situations beyond your control, such as having car trouble, getting in or being stuck behind an accident, being sick. Doctors appointments will also be excused. Please make sure your child(ren) arrives at school on time.
Parents – Should you need to drop off something to your child during the day, please do not disturb the classroom. Bring items to the office instead, and we will deliver it as soon as possible.
