Tuesday Teacher’s Treats – If you would like to sign up to bring Teacher’s Treats on Tuesdays or any day of the week, drop by or call the office.
Picture Day – Tomorrow is Picture Day at 8:45am. Make a selection of the different package deals, fill out the form, return it in an envelope, and sent it with your child tomorrow. Dress code for K-8 is uniforms (for 9-12 grades see High School Dress Requirement.s)
Progress Reports – Progress Reports will go home with your child tomorrow. Please sign and return.
Grandparent’s Day – Grandparent’s Day is next Friday, September 29th. We look forward to this day to honor our grandparents. Grandparents are welcome to stay in their grandchild’s classroom through lunch time. We will provide lunch for the grandparents. If your child’s grandparents are planning to come, please complete the form from the newsflash and return it to school by Wednesday, September 27.
Volunteer – We need parents to volunteer to serve our guests for the Grandparent’s lunch Friday.
Tuition – October tuition will be going home this week with your child.
Extended Care – Parents who use Extended Care for the school year will be assessed a $50.00 deposit. This deposit will be applied towards the last billing in June. All children who are not picked up by 3:15pm will be automatically signed in to Extended Care. Make sure to sign in and sign out when you use this service. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:00-8:00 am and 3:15-6:00 pm. The phone number to use during these hours only is (510) 223-5733.
Piano – We have an antique, upright piano to give away. If you are interested in restoring and owning this investment, call the office at (510)223-9550.
Can you provide any of these items for Grandparent’s Day lunch?
Kindergarten – juice, iced tea, soda, bags of ice, coolers
First and Second Grade – deli meat, bread, condiments, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes
Third and Fourth Grade – desserts, snacks
Fifth and Sixth Grade – fruit tray, fruit salad, lettuce salad, salad dressing
Seventh and Eighth Grade – chips, water, cookies
Ninth through Twelfth Grade – napkins, plates, forks, spoons, cups
(Food you purchase for the lunch will count towards your 8 hours/$200 volunteer obligation. Please turn in your receipt to the office so we know how much you spent.
