Welcome back to school, everyone!


Back-to-School Night – This Friday, September 2nd is Back-To-School Night from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm.  We will start in the auditorium and then move to the classrooms.  In the auditorium we will explain several procedures we need you as parents to follow.   In the classrooms your child’s teacher will explain what will happen in the classroom this year.  Friday night is a required function, so please come.

Labor Day – Monday, September 5th, is Labor Day, NO SCHOOL.

Tuition – The September tuition is due on or before September 10th.  If tuition is not received by the 10th, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed to your account.

New Parents/Students –
Important papers (i.e. registration, 3 character references, birth certificate, health exam, report card, and cum file request) must be in the office to complete your child(ren)’s enrollment.

Changes –
Make sure that you notify the office when there are changes in home addresses, home phone numbers, and work numbers.

Uniforms –
We have uniform polo shirts and pants available for purchase in the office.  Shirts are $5.00, and pants are $10.00.  P.E. t-shirts are available in the office for $11.00 each.

Bible –
Bibles are also available in the office for $8.00 – required for 2nd grade and up.

Tuesday Teacher’s Treats –
If you would like to sign up to bring Teacher’s Treats on Tuesday’s, please let us know.

Cullotes –
The company that will make our culottes custom makes their garments.  We will send home an order form this week getting your permission to place an order and to get specific sizes. (applies to 3rd-12th).

Extended Care Hours
– 7:00 – 8:00 am and 3:15 – 6:00 pm.  There’s a $50.00 deposit fee, which will be credited back to your account in June.  The Extended Care rate is $1 per 15 minutes per child.   The extended care schedule is:
                                Sign in – 3:15 – 3:30 pm                                 Play time – 4:45 – 5:00 pm
                                Play time – 3:30 – 3:45 pm                            Homework – 5:00 – 5:30 pm
                                Homework – 3:45 – 4:45 pm                        Clean up – 5:30 – 6:00 pm
 
Violin Lessons – Mr. Marlowe Robles is giving violin lessons after school.  If you are interested, call (510) 691-1271.
 
Piano Lessons – If you are interested in piano lessons, contact Mrs. Bridget Brandenburg at (510) 846-9029 (for 2nd grade and up).

Christian Flag –
I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands.  One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe.

Bible –
I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God’s holy Word.  I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, I will hide its words in my heart that I might not sin against God.
