From The Principal's Desk
Dear Parents,
One of the keys to a successful partnership in any endeavor is effective communication. A reason why parties involved in a task need to talk back and forth is because thoughts are not “wireless.” Someone may be thinking something, but that does not mean that the other person is aware or in sync. The goal is to move forward together, and for that to happen, effective communication must take place. If glitches in communication occur, and they will, then we work to identify the problem and we work to fix it.
As a school, we want to communicate with our families. We do this through the weekly Newsflash, through the weekly homework packet, through progress reports, and through report cards. In addition, we might write a note in an elementary child’s daily homework assignment book. We also try to catch parents after school, or we may call on the phone or send an email. We appreciate seeing our families take action on items that we communicate to you.
We want to keep you informed, but that may not happen as often as a situation needs. So I invite you to reach out to us if you have a question or concern about your child’s progress or about a circumstance. With all that said, let’s stay in contact with each other.
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
