American Heart Associatin/NFL Play 60
The NFL Play 60 Challenge is a joint program of the American Heart Association (AHA), the Oakland Raiders, and the National Football League. Play 60 is designed to inspire middle school students to be active 60 minutes a day – 30 minutes at school and 30 minutes at home. The program helps schools become places that encourage physically active lifestyles year-round!
Play 60 is open to public and private schools (4th – 8th graders). Prizes are awarded to schools and students who excel in the Play 60 Challenge. The school with the highest average minutes of daily physical activity per student during the challenge will receive a special Oakland Raiders themed event at their school!
Bethel Christian Academy will be participating in this “Challenge” which runs from April 13 – May 8,2015. Students wishing to participate in this challenge will track their minutes of physical activity in an Oakland Raiders “Game planner” and compete for a prize. All students who complete the Play 60 Challenge will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Oakland Raiders. There is no cost to participate!
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
