Dear Parents,
This Friday evening is our school auction. I really encourage you to come and support Bethel Christian Academy. We have some great auction items this year.
· Time Share--A one-week stay at a resort time share at a host of locations world-wide, available through November 2014. This package includes up to a two-bedroom suite with a kitchen for up to six people in Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, The Caribbean, Africa, Florida, and New England. The value of this package ranges from $1,500 – $4,000, depending on location and room size. Call Mrs. Kim Pitters at 510-812-1988.
· Piano Lessons--One year of piano lessons with Mrs. Bridget Brandenburg, a value of $585.
· Corner Desk--A high quality 6 ft. x 6 ft. corner computer desk made of cherry wood.
· Construction Work--Four days of construction work. Have up to four eight-hour days to apply toward any type of construction or remodel work done by an experienced carpenter. You pay for the materials, but the labor is provided. Valued at $1,760.
· Electrical Work--Eight hours of electrical work done in your home by a licensed electrician. Work must be done on a Saturday. Expires one year from auction date. Value is $720.
· Dump Run--One-time trip to the dump to haul away debris and rubbish. Labor to load debris is included as are dump fees. Value is $200.
· Classroom Baskets--Each of the classrooms is also compiling a theme-related auction basket:
Kindergarten and First Grades—Gift Cards
Second and Third Grades—Household Cleaning Supplies
Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Grades—Mother’s Day
Seventh and Eighth Grades—BBQ and Picnic
Ninth through Twelfth Grades—Fragrance and Miscellaneous
Friday night is the big night. This is an opportunity to help financially support the school and to say thank you to the teachers for their part in helping to develop your children.
